Some irregular verbs do Not Change in simple past tense to put-cost-hurt- cut-let-set

Some verbs (irregular) have a vowel change in simple past tense

: To come – came

To know – knew

To dig – dug

To become – became

To sing – sang

To find – found

To drink – drank

To write – wrote

 

 

Other verbs have a different form in simple past tense

 

To Go – Went

To Catch – caught

To fly – flew

To stand – stood

 

NEGATIVE SENTENCES: S+did+not+V(inf-to)

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES: Did+S+V(infinitive-to)?
