P1 : Sikiru has written to Bola.

T. Where did sikiru study ?

PRESENTATION

I Will announce the day’s lesson, to pupils and make it repeated by them individually and in chorus ; I write it on the BB. They read & write in their school diaries. After that I tell them a bref story of the text and give them different characters of the text and some  oral question.

T. Conversation (dialogue) : The king’s new clothers

T. Write it in your copybook or school diaries.

Messenger : your majesty, I have good new for you

King : what is it ? what have you got to tell me ?

Are my new shoes ready yet ?

Mess : Your majesty, two news weavenrs have must arrived in town.

King : New weavers : where are they ? They must come here at once.

Mess : your majesty, they   only make magic suit clothers.

King : what do you mean- magic suit clothers.

Mess : To wise men their suits are the most beautiful clothers in all the wold, but to a fool they are invisible.

PRODUCTION

I Will give the model conversation by playing one role 2 pupils will be divided in to group of pairs to play other role.

T. Now class, I play the role of messenger, the group, you play the role of the king.

SYNTHESIS

I Will devide the pupils in group of two and indivicate them the role, after

I aske two pupils in front by indivicating them the role.

T. Be in 2 groups, the ist group are messenger, and the 2nd groups are king.

T. Now 2 pupils in front : messenger and king.
